About Us
Awake is a project that started in 2019 in Uvita, Costa-Rica. Between 5-15 people are currently living here and building a center to support the personal and collective activation, transformation and awakening (read "What is the awakening process?"). Uvita is a town in the South Pacific coast of Costa-Rica known for its famous “Whale Tail” beach.

Awake is grounded in the practice of authentic relating and meditation. We support each other to connect to our gifts and share them with the world. As we activate our new beautiful Surya Shala we will host many events, workshops and retreats in the space.
A Community Between the Whales and the Mountains
It is right there, on that very special coast between the "Marino Ballena" National Park and the mountains of the Chirripo range, that the Awake Hub is being born. Awake is a powerful activation portal right in front of the unique "Whale's Tail" beach formation. It is in these waters that whales from the north and the south converge and where the dolphins play in the shallow waters of the Pacific Ocean.

The sacred water flows down the mountainous slopes in numerous waterfalls, swimming holes and wild rivers accessible throughout the coast. Nature exudes its abundance, its lushness and its uninterrupted vibrance.
A few steps from the town of Uvita and next to the main road of the region, Awake is a well-connected and easily accessible space by car or bus.
