Soul Familia Song Circle

A Music Medicine gathering for all ages! Children are welcome and invited.

Join us for an uplifting and soulful song circle intended for everyONE! David and Gerrie will be leading songs of empowerment, peace and deeper connection that are simple enough for the whole family to sing along to. Heart songs and medicine songs in both Spanish and English will be shared, as well as a few simple mantras in Sanskrit to help you align with your divine Source and true Self.

Parents are welcome and encouraged to bring their children to the song circle. Please send us a message to let us know how many children you're bringing, and how old they are, so that we can prepare accordingly.

We ask for the parents’ support to hold the space together and be with their children at all times, so we can focus our energy on the transmission of the songs. Thank you!

Contribution:

About the facilitators:

David Segall

David is a singer, songwriter and vocal empowerment coach. For over 20 years, he's been exploring the voice as a channel of Spirit and an instrument of divine love. In addition to being a lifelong devotee of Music and Voice, David has been studying the deeper facets of Yoga, meditation, mantra and affirmation for over a decade. He's a strong proponent of combining resonation with visualization as a way of embodying the true and empowered Self.

Gerrie Gomez

Gerrie explores life as an Anthroposophic (Waldorf) Early Years Teacher, Homeschooling counselor, parent educator, holder of family healing spaces, story teller, ceremonialist, and moondancer. She is a lover and student of music, healing sound vibration, arts, philosophy and life’s mysticism and magic. As an anthropologist and environmentalist, Gerrie traveled the world working for an array of NGO projects. While managing grass-roots community projects, she started working closer with the children and families of these communities. When a community need arose, she opened her first kindergarten in Costa Rica and got trained as an Anthroposophic or Waldorf Early Years Teacher. Since then, she is dedicated to supporting the child's incarnation process by creating harmonious (learning) environments with a deep reference for life. Spending much of her time in the pristine rivers and forests of Costa Rica, she brings a deep love for the earth and the natural cycles to the children. With a passion for the arts, music, beauty, story telling and ceremony her work with children is infused by ritual and wonder, weaving magic in a joyous exploration of life.
