1. Arriving & Naming Your Unique Longing (Somatic Grounding)

Let go of what no longer serves you by creating a safe and sacred space. This ritual will foster a deep connection with yourself, opening the door to trust and authenticity. We invite you to observe a specific moment or feeling that makes you feel "not belonging," without judgment.

2. The Pulse of Purpose (20-30 Minutes of Deep Breathing)

Through breath, unwind the weight of self-judgment. This practice allows you to access suppressed emotions, nurturing empathy and deeper self-awareness. Clear away the blockages that stand between you and your true essence.

3. Meaning-Making (NVC Integration)

Transform your somatic experiences into actionable life values. Identify the feelings that arose during your breathing practice—what emotions did you encounter? For example, "I felt a heavy warmth in my chest." Then, explore the universal needs behind those feelings, such as "This warmth reflects my need for contribution or wholeness."

4. Belonging (Relational Practice)

We will conclude by weaving individual purpose back into our shared sense of belonging. In empathetic listening pairs, participants will share their "purpose request" while their partners practice empathetic receiving—listening deeply to the feelings and needs behind the words, free from judgment.

We will finalize our journey with a collective breath, attuning our hearts to trust, harmony, and openness. Together, we will close our sacred container with ritual and song, celebrating the journey we've shared.

About your facilitators

Jessica

Guide, facilitator, and founder of Empathy Angels, Jessica supports the community of Aotearoa, NZ, through the power of empathetic listening (NVC). And more recently Jess has embarked on the journey of guiding woman into birthing their soul service into the world by providing empathetic & intuitive reflective mentoring.

Jessica is a dedicated Nonviolent Communication (NVC) guide and the founder of Empathy Angels, an empathetic listening service based in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Her journey with NVC began eight years ago as a "response to a prayer" when she found herself seeking a deeper, more integrated way to support her eldest daughter through big emotions. Today, she combines her roles as a project leader, Wilderdance facilitator, and homeschool mama to guide others back to their own hearts. Jessica’s unique approach ensures that NVC isn't just a mental exercise, but a somatic and energetic transformation that has empowered hundreds to lead with innate wisdom and integrity.

Rachael

Rachael guides plant teacher ceremony/ altered states of consciousness/Integration for groups in the U.S. and she runs a homeschool cooperative here at Awake and back Stateside. She unites herbal medicine, song, animism and ritual to cultivate sacred circles that are embedded with truth, harmony, love and safety.

Rachael is an altered states facilitator dedicated to the art of transformation through breath, ritual, and plant teacher ceremony. With a practice deeply rooted in the animism of her ancestors, she serves as a bridge between the seen and unseen worlds. For over 15 years, Rachael’s foundation was built in the Steiner tradition, teaching in Waldorf classrooms and homeschool cooperatives—an experience that honed her ability to hold sacred space for the developmental journeys of the soul. Today, she brings these ancient rites of passage to her community on Martha’s Vineyard Island and beyond, helping others reconnect with the living pulse of the earth, cosmos and their own inner wisdom.
