About the event
Indian Sacred Dance is an intensive workshop of Indian classical dance taught by Andrea Vargas
( Indian Council for Cultural Relations) schoolarship.
Program
9:00 am
Yoga dance class.
This class is a combination of exercises of modern dance, indian classical dance and yoga asanas to prepare the body.
10:00 am
Odissi dance workshop.
This class includes the basics dance techniques of Odissi dance, its sculptural postures, hand gestures and a beautiful dance composition for Saraswati .
12.30 Organic Vegan Lunch (Pay by weight)
1:30-4:00pm
Dance with mantras and vandanas.
This is a very special and spiritual workshop where the participant will study the diferent mantras and vandanas, the meaning and the way to represent them with hand gestures , body postures and facial expresions.
5pm Silence Meditation (FREE)
6pm Organic Vegan Dinner (Pay by Weight)
7:00pm Solo dance performance by Andrea Vargas
