About the event
Film Screening & Q&A: The Village of Lovers
Join us for a special screening of The Village of Lovers, a feature documentary offering an intimate look into Tamera, a long-standing intentional community and peace research center in Portugal.
The film explores Tamera’s bold, decades-long experiment in trust, love, transparency, and collective healing — and its commitment to addressing the root causes of violence through relational culture, conflict resolution, and regenerative living. Through personal stories and communal challenges, The Village of Lovers invites us to question how we relate, love, and build culture together.
Following the screening, we’re honored to host Ian MacKenzie, co-director of the film, for a live Q&A. Together, we’ll explore the making of the documentary, the challenges of portraying intimacy and community on screen, and what Tamera’s work can teach us about creating resilient, peace-oriented cultures in today’s world.

An evening for reflection, curiosity, and meaningful conversation - open to anyone interested in conscious community, relational practice, and new ways of living together.
