Drew LaPlante: Song & Story — A Personal Awake Retrospective
As one of the founders of Awake, Drew LaPlante carries the songs, stories, and lived experiences of this land and community. Over the past six and a half years, Awake has been shaped through music, prayer, challenge, devotion, and deep listening — and many of those moments have found their way into heart songs and mantras born right here.
This evening is an invitation to step out of the whirlwind and into presence. Through music and storytelling, Drew shares reflections from his personal journey — following the heart, staying rooted in love, and continuing to choose creation even when the path isn’t easy. It’s a journey marked by growth, humility, beauty, and the ongoing willingness to meet life as it unfolds.
