Contact Improv

This class will expand your “movement vocabulary”: the ability to express with your body and converse with the bodies of others. There are many subconscious layers that prevent us from being embodied: this is a space for shedding these layers. The classes are designed to explore a different theme each week through a series of playful inquiries. All levels of practitioners are welcome - no experience is required and even experienced practitioners will be challenged.

We try to use the first 1.5 hours to drop into the body and go into specific material or exercises. The last 1 hour is more open to give space for deeper personal exploration. 

Long sleeved & comfortable clothing is recommended
