Our Presenters
Devotion. Education. Transformation
We have curated a line-up of teachers, presenters and artists who are devoted to the rich spiritual culture of yoga.

Yoga Educator
Zamir Dhanji
Founder of Mystic Yogi, Zamir’s classes and teachings integrate the scientific and spiritual aspects of yoga into the asana classes using mantra, story, meditation and somatic practices bridging psycotherapy principles with yogic teachings.
He was a lead instructor for Langara College’s yoga teacher trainings, practices as somatic-based psychotherapy counsellor, and is the author of the Inner Path Yoga Deck.
Zamir will be teaching the Holistic Yoga Teacher Training at Awake in April.

Sacred Sounds
Sito Reno
Sito Reno is a multi instrumentalist/world traveller that fuses african, latin, native and healing music with a solo loop station as a live act or with various projects around the world.
His quest for the world songs that connect straight to the heart
brought him to start sharing voice work. He takes it as a service to sow the seed of universal music in the heart of people.

Classical Dancer
Andrea Vargas
Andrea is a master of both Kathak and Odissia dance, and is the founder of Academia Ave Shanti, a school for classical Indian Dance in San Jose. Her dedication to both the mastery of form and feeling is felt through her dance, where she transports the audience into a world of gods and goddesses through her movements.

Kirtan Walla
Jamil Apostol
Jamil serves to fuse global cultural musical influences with the ancient traditional mantra chants of the East, making them accessible to all walks of life. He founded the Butter Thieves, a Kirtan Fusion project, and also tours with the Kirtaniyas - a global kirtan phenomena.

Music & Hawaiian Healing Wisdom
Noelani Love
Native Hawaiian singer and songwriter, her lyrics are reminders to honor our connection to nature and the beauty of our individual journeys. As a crystal healer, plant medicine guide, water priestess and yoga and mediation teacher, she invites you to connect with the power that lives within you.
