What is the Awake Earth vision?
Awake Earth is a community and heart-centered approach to a festival!
This festival is an extension and amplification of our daily celebration of life here at Awake Uvita, in which we create space to connect more deeply to Mother Earth, ourselves and each other. Our intention is for you to leave inspired, energized and even transformed. This festival will be an intimate one--we are making only 500 tickets available. Kids 12 years and under are free to join and don't need a ticket. And it will take what we feel is a healthier approach to what a festival can be: mainstage sound no later than midnight; energy to participate in our pillar practices like yoga, breathwork, authentic relating and meditation; and engaging in profound talks on community building, herbalism, permaculture, freedom and bitcoin. And dancing! There will be plenty of dancing and communing under the stars alongside the Uvita river. Awake Earth is a family-friendly gathering and there will be no alcohol vending. About the Event
AWAKE EARTH will take place in the lush riverside setting of Awake in Uvita, Costa Rica.
It's easily accessible & close to town while being incredibly private. Artists & Speakers will be sharing on three stages: the Freedom Village, the Surya Shala and a brand-new Riverfront Garden MainStage with views from multiple terraces including our Sacred Fire Circle.

On Feb. 24, Bitcoin Jungle takes over Awake Earth Festival! We'll have immersive talks, hands-on experiences, and inspiring stories. There will still be music, dancing & networking time throughout the day. This is a great time to really get to know the Bitcoin community and what we stand for. It may not be what you think!
Bitcoin Lounge
Visit the Bitcoin Lounge any time throughout the whole festival to listen to visionary Bitcoin speakers, participate in educational workshops, watch engaging film screenings, or simply relax and network with like-minded individuals. We'll be here throughout the festival. Come say hi, we don't bite!

YAIMA
Cascadian Folktronic Duo from Seattle, WA
Featuring Multi-Instrumentalist & Producer Masaru Higasa from Okinawa, Japan and Vocalist Pepper Proud from Seattle, WA. Yaima has often been described as timeless and unmistakable, offering a balanced synergy of both the masculine and feminine expression. Their melodious soundscapes showcase instruments from all over the world. Inspired by the Majesty of Nature their musings encompass the listener with driving and revitalizing organic rhythms, transcendent electronic production, warm soothing female vocals and heartened lyricism.
Their intention is to create a bridge between Nature and Humankind, an expansive experience that encourages growth and graceful passage for the hearts and minds of their listeners.
The name YAIMA emerges from two sources
one from the Mapudungun language meaning "that which water runs through" and the other from the culturally preserved Yaeyama District of Okinawa Japan- Over the last 5 years YAIMAs music has been reaching the ears and hearts of listeners from all around the world.
CHANCHA VIA CIRCUITO
Chancha Via Circuito’s music is a fusion of traditional cumbia rhythms with digital production techniques, incorporating elements of electronic music, folk, and world music. His sound is characterized by its infectious energy, catchy melodies, and eclectic sampling.

If you plan to swim in the river, don’t forget your swimwear! If you're camping, make sure to pack your gear. And, of course, come with a positive attitude and an open heart to connect with the community.
