Movement & Metaphor

Movement & Metaphor classes are an invitation for you to meet with your Inner Artist. Through Art-Therapeutic modalities like intentional and intuitive movement, dance, creative writing and working with simple materials - we open the doors for creative channels to stream. Through dance and awakened senses we land in the fertile soils of the body and a relaxed state of mind - which is where the recipe for Creation starts. A sprinkle of tasteful music and we’re cooking it! 

Art-therapy is an approach that integrates different expressive methods like drama and play, dance, painting and drawing, storytelling, writing, performance - just to name a few. It’s purpose is centered around creating an experience that is life enriching in areas of self-discovery, artistic exploration and emotional expression. Art-Therapy is a gate for any creative force that wants to be alive through us. 

The classes are designed for those who would like to connect with their own language of expression. You don’t need any preparation or previous experience. Come as you are. If you have curiosity, bring it with you.
