Sound healing can be traced back to ancient civilizations such as Egypt, Greece, and India.  In these cultures, sound was used as a tool for healing and spiritual transformation. The sound vibrations and frequencies heal your body on a spiritual and cellular level.  The interconnection between brainwaves and sound frequencies serves as a gateway to unlocking the brain’s innate capacity for self-regulation and restoration.

Research shows that sound healing can slow down our brain waves and put our bodies into a very relaxed, dreamlike state where our breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure decrease.  This helps our immune system function more efficiently, relaxes our nervous system, reduces our stress hormones and triggers the release of feel-good chemicals in the brain.  

A non-evasive. gentle way to balance and restore the energy of the body, mind, and soul.  Described to promote feelings of self love and connection to one’s higher self.  The best way to describe the feelings and benefits of such an incredible ancient practice is to experience one!

About the facilitator: 

This week we have the pleasure of having Mehtap facilitating the Sound Healing! 

Met will guide you on a meditative sound journey by playing a combination of high vibrational instruments she is

intuitively guided to play. She will generate healing sound frequencies, with the

intention to create inner peace, reset the nervous system and activate the chakras to their pure love essence.  

Met has over 17 years of experience as a Reiki Master, she is an intuitive sound healer and  kundalini yoga teacher.  More recently she began hosting  intimate heart centered  retreats for self discovery.  Her intention is to hold a safe space for positive transformations.
