Sense & Surrender - A Blindfolded Dance Journey

SENSE & SURRENDER is a blindfolded dance journey designed to open "the eye of the heart", the one that is capable of seeing beyond the forms, prejudices and labels that we have learned to use to navigate this material world. The heart does not see figures or shapes as our eyes do, the Heart "sees" the feeling behind things.

This is an experience to awaken the feeling of unity within the human heart, which can only be experienced when we open our senses to the present moment as it is without judgment, release control and surrender to the unknown.

The event begins with an individual blindfolded journey, inviting each participant to open their senses and explore their inner world. This journey then evolves into a partner dance, where one is guided and the other one guides, fostering connection, trust and willingness to face the unkwown.

Finally, it culminates in a collective blindfolded dance, where everyone dances together, merging into an unified field of consciousness. Where the individual identity reduces to a mere part of the whole, so that there is no other way but to surrender and arrive HOME

About Yozéf Dragon:

Yozéf Dragon is the artist name for Adrián Yozéf. Born and raised in Costa Rica he is the founder of Beyond Dance and one of the most important local space holders in conscious dancing in the South Pacific and Central Valley of Costa Rica. He is an embodiment mentor, ceremony leader and DJ committed to creating a safe, substance-free, and therapeutic space for the exploration of the inner self through music and movement. He is an experienced guide in conscious movement and self-discovery practices. He has successfully led these workshop in Costa Rica, Colombia, and France, drawing from his extensive experience and cultural adaptability to create impactful experiences. With a deep understanding of group dynamics and intuitive facilitation, he creates safe and inclusive spaces for participants to release limitations, explore their authentic selves, and connect deeply with others. His approach blends movement, mindfulness and creativity to inspire personal transformation and collective unity in a playful and easy way.
