Huni Kui group Pinu Huya & Mawa Isa of Aldeia Pinuya, from the Brazilian Amazon rainforest. 

The group will be performing for the 1st time in Costa Rica and the event will be co-hosted by Futuro Nativo, to raise funds for the reforestation of degraded lands in aldeia Pinuya.

Shaya, Baynawa and Kupi Huni Kui will hold a rapeh cermeony in their traditional ways and as their culture prescribes, in honour of this sacred medicine. This is followed by a fun, family friendly concert, bringing with them the force and prayers of the Amazon rainforest in their songs. Expect lots of dancing, and powerful voices. 

We will close by premiering a short film by ‘Uma Sai’ to introduce the new track ‘Caboclo’ by Raio, a non profit music release that will dedicate royalties to the reforestation project supported by Futuro Nativo. More information can be found here:
